Oimachi［Shinagawa Ward］

Located in the southeastern part of Tokyo and facing Tokyo Bay, this area is an important transportation and industrial hub with many commercial facilities and office buildngs while also home to historical site and cultural facilities. We aim to co-create a vibrant station-area community where a divers range of pedestrians coexist, including residents, workers, families with children, and inbound visitors. Thorough improvements to pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, we are working toward a transformation into a dynamic urban space that encourages walking.
